Prabhu Insurance Limited is a non-life insurance company founded in 1996 by leading industrial and business houses of Nepal. It has major shareholding of Prabhu Group and also of Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh (Employee’s Provident Fund), an enterprise of Government of Nepal. It has paid up capital around 30 crores by end of Fiscal year 2071/2072.

Mr. Devi Prakash Bhattachan, a major business leader and a very prominent figure in diverse areas of business such as remittance, banking & finance sector, travel trade, energy and infrastructure, also the Chairman of the entire Prabhu Group in Nepal, USA, Malaysia and Qatar, leads the company as Chairman and Mr. Rajendra Malla, a reputed name in business community involved in various businesses such as trading, industry, investment, infrastructure, hydro, education and also the Vice President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as Vice-Chairman.
