PARIS, June 27, 2016 (AFP) – Paris stocks fell more than three percent Monday as traders reacted to Britain’s vote to quit the European Union and faced looming uncertainties linked to its departure.
At 1413 GMT, the CAC 40 in Paris had slipped 3.04 percent, dipping below the symbolically important level of 4,000 points for the first time since February, to 3,981.90. It had slumped just over 8.0 percent Friday, the day after the British referendum.
